After-School clubs
We offer a range of after-school clubs at John Shelton Primary for children in Years Reception to Year 6. The clubs are an excellent opportunity to learn and develop new skills, as well as being enjoyable and exciting.
The clubs we offer cover a range of areas including: Sports, Creative arts, Curriculum areas, Nature and Social and Emotional.
Many of the clubs that we run are free of charge. Families can sign up on a termly basis for these clubs. We make sure that every child who applies can attend at least one club per term.
We also offer some clubs provided by external agencies to widen our offer. There is a charge for these clubs. Please see information about our clubs below.

Spring Term Overview
Rocksteady Music School
Do you want to be in your own rock band?! Rocksteady Music School offers weekly lessons on Mondays in the school day.
Nature Makers
Join our Nature Makers on Tuesdays! They learn and have fun in our special forest area. Grab your wellies and come and have fun!
Disney Pop Rocks
Come and dance and sing to your favourite pop music. This fun and active dance class takes place after school on a Wednesday.
STEM Goes Wild!
Calling all scientists! Join our thrilling club on Thursdays. Be prepared to experiment and have fun!
